Dutux Brass Helicoil Inserts (DBI-035) are threaded inserts that are precisely constructed to provide robust, wear-resistant internal threads in a variety of materials, such as composite materials, soft metals, plastics, and aluminum. When inserted into a drilled hole, these inserts—which are cylindrical metal bushings with internal and external threads—are specifically made to cut their own threads.

Pre-tapped holes are no longer necessary thanks to the self-tapping design, which speeds up assembly and makes installation easier. As the insert is pressed into the material, its cutting grooves enable it to form its own threads, guaranteeing a firm and durable connection.
